1. Aloe Vera extract - This is a substance that has a lot of benefits to areas that have been infected or open wounds.

The extract will help kill the viruses or bacteria to be blamed for the infection just as much as it will provide soothing effects.

However, you may need to have it warmed to room temperature to avoid startling the dog with unbearably cold temperatures.

2. A combination of oil of Mullen and garlic oil - This is treatment that will work to kill the pathogens that may have caused the infection.

It also allows for soothing of the affected parts to relieve pain and alleviates swelling which usually occurs as a result of the infection.

3. Vitamin E oil - There usually is a problem of build-up of wax in the ears of the dog which can cause infections.

Usually, under ordinary circumstances, some amount of wax is required in the ears to help keep it clean and healthy. However, in the event that too much of it is allowed to accumulate, a sensitive dog might develop an infection.

Vitamin E oil helps to break down this wax reserve so that the debris can then be removed. If the ears of the dog feel irritated, the substance will bring about soothing effects as well.

4. A mixture of white vinegar and water - This is no doubt the most commonly used dog ear infection home remedy. By mixing two parts of water to one part white vinegar, you will have made a treatment and avoided paying vet fees.

When used twice daily for about ten days, you will definitely notice the ear infection showing signs of abating.
